I hope you had a wonderful break. I did, sort of, but found it hard to relax if I am honest. I was delighted to have my two adult children visit for a week but also found it quite hard to coordinate family activities (ie get them to do anything I wanted them to do!)

Losing some useful work documents in an attempt to ‘tidy’ my laptop was distressing but nothing that important and also forced me into having a real refresh in my approach.
As a result, I am feeling very positive about 2025 and have put together some intentions -
Connecting with lots of interesting people and writing about them.
Shoots in the diary: we have some already, which is lovely.
Finish our house, which will be beyond amazing. It will be sooooo relaxing, my home is very important to me, I am not a traveller or a camper, I have found it quite distressing living in a building site.
Painting and sketching will be a priority for me this year.
In March we are planning a ski holiday
In April I am heading to Dorset for a family get together.
In June I will be celebrating a big birthday.
In July I am heading to Ibiza to celebrate my best friend from primary school’s similarly big birthday.
I think that might be enough excitement for one year, my nephew moves to New York very shortly and I could plan a visit but might wait until 2026 for that.
I think I would rather just focus on my house and plan for a lovely family Christmas, not in a building site hopefully, for the first time since 2021.
As is my constant refrain, if you have a lovely home that might make a good story for a magazine, please get in touch, I would love to write about it!
